This was worth every minute and every yen. Had a great time doing this around 6pm where we got to experience the sunset and night ride through the city. Ken, our guide, was fantastic and not only took us to some great sight seeing spots but even took us to awesome historical locations and gave us small lessons on each place. Yota knew the points of interest and the history of the stops on route and was very accommodating of our group. Our guide, Haru, was superb from start to finish. He was deeply knowledgeable, sharing rich context about Japanese history, culture, politics, and religion that you simply wouldn't get from a standard guidebook. On top of that, Haru speaks perfect English and was exceptionally attentive, always checking in on the group and engaging everyone in great conversation. He safely guided us through  the streets,  taking us to important cultural attractions and hidden gems we would not have otherwise known about. Learned so much about Japanese people and their culture. I especially enjoyed the lovely “mini picnic” and snack break in the park and the great conversations with Hiro and  our group.
